Whistler’s Barn
This historic barn conversion created a three-bedroom contemporary home, set within a traditional Oxfordshire country garden.
Balance between the new-build design and traditional character was achieved by collaborating with local craftsmen and artisans to highlight the historic features of the property, taking clues from the robust nature of the existing structure.
Significant changes were made to the fabric of the barn to bring it into line with current thermal and energy-efficient requirements. Bespoke designs, including the fireplace and elevated walkway, provided focal points within this truly unique space.
